Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to assemble motor lead cables and requires annual certification. Position also requires cross-training in all three methods of assembly. Responsible for managing your time productively during times when utilizing molds and presses. Responsible for following written and verbal instructions and maintaining accurate and legible work center records (i.e. product traceability forms, time cards, tally sheets, tags, labor entry, etc.) Responsible for performing quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with engineering / manufacturing specifications and ISO requirements.
Skill Requirements:
Maintain neat, orderly and safe work area. Train and assist other personnel as necessary. Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor. 6 months previous manufacturing experience required. Must have mechanical aptitude; use of general hand tools and precision measuring instructions. Experience / knowledge of sparkers, hi pot, thumpers, counters, welders and various molds and presses preferred. Ability to operate material moving equipment. Good communication skills, safety oriented and a team player. PC skills are preferred. Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50lbs.frequently; carryingup to 10 lbs. continuously and up to 20 lbs. frequently; push/ull effort ofup to 67 lbs. frequently; standing 85% or more of the time. Consistent job history. Requires 12 month commitment before eligible to bid out. This will be either a 2nd or 3rd shift position.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required. Preference will be given to applicants who have a background with HSE projects and training. Mechanical or Electrical Assembly experience and soldier training preferred. Electronic/electrical education/training a plus. Motorlead requires 6 months previous manufacturing experience.
