Splicer – Claremore

Responsibilities:

Repairs, patches or splices cable - either single of multi-conductor. Manages time productively during times when molds and presses are being utilized. Maintains accurate and legible work center records (i.e. product traceability forms, time cards, tally sheets, tags, labor entry, etc.). Performs quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with engineering/manufacturing specifications and ISO requirements. Maintains neat, orderly and safe work area. Trains and assists other personnel as necessary. Maintains splice and weld certifications. Performs additional assignments as directed by supervisor.

This position is on our 4-shift operations and requires a 12 month commitment before eligible to bid out.

The 4/3 shift hours for this position are from 6PM to 6AM.

Skill Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude; use of general hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Ability to operate material moving equipment. Good communication skills, safety oriented and a team player. PC skills are preferred. Must be able to lift up to 54 lbs. on occasional basis; carry up to 54 lbs; push/pull over 120 lbs. on occasional basis.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma six months previous manufacturing experience required. Consistent job history. This position is not approved for relocation. This position is open only to candidates eligible to work in the
